=== Step 1: Speak with Grimm Brellhand ===

Speak with [[Grimm Brellhand]] in [[Gramash Ruins]] (S) to begin the quest.

To find [[Grimm Brellhand]], coach to [[Murnf]] and travel northeast into [[Gramash Ruins]]. If you are evil-aligned, you can travel from [[Zentar's Keep]] instead.

[[Grimm Brellhand]] can be found inside the blacksmith house in the southern section of [[Gramash Ruins]].

=== Step 2: Speak with Head Foreman Zeke ===

[[Grimm Brellhand]] sends you to [[Gerntar's Mine]] to speak with [[Head Foreman Zeke]].

[[Head Foreman Zeke]] can be found near the coach. Speak with him to continue the quest.

=== Step 3: Purchase a Pickaxe ===

[[Head Foreman Zeke]] tells you to purchase a pickaxe from [[Quartermaster Malda]].

Buy the pickaxe from [[Quartermaster Malda]] for 3,000 Tunar.

Equip the pickaxe before entering the minotaur caves.

=== Step 4: Gather the First Ore ===

Travel to the minotaur caves.

Enter the first cave and go to the back of the tunnel. A pop-up will appear allowing you to dig.

Use the prompt to gather the first ore.

=== Step 5: Gather the Second and Third Ores ===

Skip the second cave and continue to the third cave.

At the ends of both tunnels in the third cave, you will receive two more dig pop-ups.

Use both prompts to gather the remaining ores.

=== Step 6: Speak with Gilthirn Ironhoof ===

Inside the third cave, speak with [[Gilthirn Ironhoof]].

He tells you about [[Khelmarak]].

=== Step 7: Defeat Khelmarak ===

To spawn [[Khelmarak]], travel to the back of the second cave.

A pop-up will appear, and [[Khelmarak]] will spawn on top of you.

[[Khelmarak]] is level 48 or 49 and can see through invisibility.

Defeat [[Khelmarak]] and loot his horn.

After [[Khelmarak]] is defeated, six minotaurs will appear behind you. They will not attack.

=== Step 8: Return to Gilthirn Ironhoof ===

Speak with [[Gilthirn Ironhoof]] again.

He will be standing with the six minotaurs that appeared after [[Khelmarak]] was defeated.

Turn in [[Khelmarak]]'s horn. This grants a large faction increase with the minotaurs, making you no longer kill-on-sight to them.

=== Step 9: Return to Head Foreman Zeke ===

Return to [[Head Foreman Zeke]] in [[Gerntar's Mine]].

Speak with him so he can approve the ores.

=== Step 10: Return to Grimm Brellhand ===

Return to [[Grimm Brellhand]] in [[Gramash Ruins]].

He now sends you to [[Cazic Thule]] to obtain additional ore.

=== Step 11: Travel to the Cazic Thule Temple ===

Travel to [[Cazic Thule]] (N).

The main temple is the only temple in the zone that allows you to descend inside. Enter the temple and locate the pyramid.

Drop down through the top of the pyramid to reach the lower area.

Inside the pyramid, there is a central room with four hallways leading away from it.

=== Step 12: Defeat the Tunneler ===

The [[Tunneler]] spawns in the hallway that ends with three Tae Ew facing the wall.

The middle Tae Ew is the placeholder for [[Tunneler]].

Defeat the placeholder until [[Tunneler]] spawns.

Defeat [[Tunneler]] and loot the required ore.

=== Step 13: Defeat the Excavator ===

The [[Excavator]] spawns in the room with the sunken floor.

This room contains several enemies, including door guards, ramp guards, a [[Stone Golem]], additional Tae Ew, and a wandering Tae Ew.

The [[Excavator]] spawns directly across from the [[Stone Golem]]. His placeholder is the middle enemy between two mobs.

Defeat the placeholder until [[Excavator]] spawns.

Defeat [[Excavator]] and loot the required ore.

'''Important:''' Do not drop down into the sunken pit unless your group is prepared. This area can become dangerous if several enemies respawn at the same time.

Once you have both ores from [[Cazic Thule]], return to [[Grimm Brellhand]] in [[Gramash Ruins]].

Speak with him to complete the quest and receive 7,083,126 XP and a class-specific item.
