== Before You Begin ==

[[Grimm Brellhand]] eventually asks for a [[Ball of Everfrost]] and an ancient bottle of [[Elven Wine]].

These items can be obtained before logging the quest to save time.

Recommended pre-farm items:

* [[Elven Wine]]
* [[Ball of Everfrost]]

The [[Elven Wine]] can be purchased in [[Freeport]] from [[Merchant Gilgash]] for 3,000 Tunar.

The [[Ball of Everfrost]] drops from [[Ice Goblin Melder]] in [[Permafrost]] (N), inside Vox Castle.

== Walkthrough ==

=== Step 1: Speak with Grimm Brellhand ===

Speak with [[Grimm Brellhand]] in [[Gramash Ruins]] after completing the first Gramash Ruins quest.

[[Grimm Brellhand]] tells you he needs special wood for the hammer and asks you to obtain a [[Ball of Everfrost]] and [[Elven Wine]] to summon [[Margun Leafstrider]].

=== Step 2: Purchase Elven Wine ===

Travel to [[Freeport]] and locate [[Merchant Gilgash]].

[[Merchant Gilgash]] can be found in a building near the docks.

Purchase the [[Elven Wine]] for 3,000 Tunar.

=== Step 3: Obtain the Ball of Everfrost ===

Travel to [[Permafrost]] (N) and enter Vox Castle.

The [[Ball of Everfrost]] drops from [[Ice Goblin Melder]], who cons yellow.

Inside Vox Castle, enter through the main door and take two right turns until you pass the frost hound.

Continue down the hallway until it ends at a large room with several Ice Goblins.

When you enter that room, look to the right for a smaller room with three goblins and a ramp leading up.

Go up the ramp to another room with three goblins and a hallway leading out.

Follow the hallway and turn left. You will find an Ice Goblin thief, shaman, wizard, or [[Ice Goblin Melder]].

If [[Ice Goblin Melder]] is not up, kill the placeholder until he spawns.

Defeat [[Ice Goblin Melder]] and loot the [[Ball of Everfrost]].

'''Warning:''' Goblin shamans and wizards see through invisibility. A strong group is recommended.

=== Step 4: Return to Grimm Brellhand ===

Return to [[Grimm Brellhand]] with the [[Elven Wine]] and [[Ball of Everfrost]].

He sends you to a hollow tree in [[Gramash Ruins]] (C) to perform the summoning ceremony.

=== Step 5: Summon Margun Leafstrider ===

Travel north of [[Grimm Brellhand]] to [[Gramash Ruins]] (C).

Find the hollow tree. The tree opens to the east and has a wooden archway in front of it.

Walk up to the tree to receive a pop-up and begin the summoning ceremony.

Wait for [[Margun Leafstrider]] to spawn.

Speak with [[Margun Leafstrider]]. He tells you that the branch you seek is southwest of Holciel Rowen'Dal.

=== Step 6: Find Tilmiraen ===

Travel to [[Deathfist Forge]] (NW) to find [[Tilmiraen]].

From [[Muniel's Tea Garden]], travel northwest and follow the mountains past the entrance to [[Deathfist Citadel]].

Continue northwest until you find a mountain with a mine on the east side. Follow that mountain west, then north around the mountain until the desert changes to grassland.

[[Tilmiraen]] can be found north of this area in a small bowl-shaped valley just over the first hill.

=== Step 7: Speak with Tilmiraen ===

Speak with [[Tilmiraen]].

He agrees to give you one of his branches if you discover what [[Twizzletwig]] is doing.

After accepting, [[Tilmiraen]] teleports you to a fairy village in [[Twisted Towers]] (S). He also casts an illusion on you, turning you into a fairy so you can blend in.

'''Important:''' If you die in the fairy village, do not resurrect back into the village. You will lose the fairy illusion and may be killed on sight. Return to [[Tilmiraen]] and have him teleport you again.

=== Step 8: Speak with Mugwort ===

Once inside the fairy village, take note of the mushroom house where you arrived. You must return to this same location later.

Find [[Mugwort]], who is located east of the teleport point.

He may be in a nearby mushroom house, or farther east beyond the main village area.

Speak with [[Mugwort]] to advance the quest.

After speaking with him, return to the original mushroom house where you arrived.

Con and speak with the tiny door to be teleported back to [[Tilmiraen]].

=== Step 9: Return to Tilmiraen ===

Speak with [[Tilmiraen]] again.

He is upset by the news and tells you that [[Twizzletwig]] must be killed.

He sends you to find [[Twizzletwig]] in [[Takish Hiz]], southwest of [[Oasis]].

=== Step 10: Defeat Twizzletwig ===

Travel to [[Takish Hiz]].

[[Twizzletwig]] is a level 50 triggered spawn in the large ruined city.

To trigger him, travel to [[Takish Hiz]] (SE) near the blue lake. Run south past the four small pillars with black triangle tops until you receive the pop-up.

After receiving the pop-up, return to the blue lake and go up the hill. [[Twizzletwig]] will spawn on the road and begin walking toward you after roughly 30 seconds.

If you miss him on the road, con around the area. He roams the roads across a broad area.

Defeat [[Twizzletwig]] and loot the [[Potion of Ever-Rot]].

=== Step 11: Return to Tilmiraen ===

Return to [[Tilmiraen]] with the [[Potion of Ever-Rot]].

Speak with him to receive one of his roots.

=== Step 12: Return to Grimm Brellhand ===

Return to [[Grimm Brellhand]] in [[Gramash Ruins]].

Speak with him to complete the quest and receive XP, a class-specific item, and a new ability.
