This is the second level 27 side quest connected to Saerk Towers. Saerk asks players to recover the Elemental Lexicon and Darkhart's Medallion from an old tower near Melton, then purchase a red diamond before returning for a reward.

Walkthrough
Step 1: Speak with Saerk
Speak with Saerk in Saerk Towers to begin the quest.

Saerk asks you to recover two items from the old tower east of Melton in Druid's Watch:

* Elemental Lexicon
* Darkhart's Medallion

Step 2: Travel to the Old Tower
To reach the old tower, travel east from the east gate of Highbourne until you reach the river.

Follow the river until you locate Melton. From Melton, travel directly east to find the old tower.

Step 3: Recover the Elemental Lexicon
Enter the old tower and make your way upstairs.

The Elemental Lexicon is located upstairs and is guarded by a ghost. Fight your way up the tower as needed.

Note: If you do not want enemies respawning behind you, avoid looting unnecessary corpses while moving through the tower.

Recover the Elemental Lexicon.

Step 4: Recover Darkhart's Medallion
After obtaining the Elemental Lexicon, travel down into the catacombs beneath the tower.

Continue through the catacombs until you find a dirt tunnel. Follow this tunnel to Darkhart's lair.

Darkhart is guarded by a Fright Wolf and a Specter. Defeat Darkhart and loot Darkhart's Medallion.

Note: If you do not want a running fight through the catacombs, avoid looting unnecessary enemies along the way.

Step 5: Purchase a Red Diamond
After collecting both quest items, purchase a Red Diamond from either of the following merchants:

* Grithmil Darkstone in Moradhim
* Tsekar in Green Rift

Step 6: Return to Saerk
Return to Saerk in Saerk Towers with the Elemental Lexicon, Darkhart's Medallion, and Red Diamond.

Speak with Saerk to complete the quest and receive 1,785,000 XP.
