Walkthrough

This quest unlocks access to the Plane of Sky. Wizard and Druid players receive a group portal spell to the Plane of Sky, while other classes complete the quest for access through the portal sequence.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Speak with Sektamoot

Travel to the Sphinx Pyramid in the northeast section of the Eternal Desert.

Sektamoot is a giant manticore located on a hillside near the Sphinx Pyramid, north of the dwarven town that can be reached by waysender from Gerntar's Mine.

Speak with Sektamoot to begin the quest.

You must be at least level 53 to log this quest.

Step 2: Speak with Fentharos and Alexandraphex

Two other manticores are located on nearby hillsides:

• Fentharos
• Alexandraphex

Each of the three manticores gives two riddles.

You must solve all six riddles to complete the quest.

Note: The first three riddles may be completed in any order. The final three riddles may also be completed in any order, but at least one of the first three riddles must be completed before the final riddles become available.

First Three Riddles

Step 3: Obtain the Totem of the Frozen North

Sektamoot's first riddle requires the Totem of the Frozen North.

Defeat Skaldi Runehoof to obtain the Totem of the Frozen North.

Skaldi Runehoof spawns in the same lair as The Unnamed King, used for the Parathior epics. This lair is located in the tomb within the ruins north of Anu Village, near the pond.

Skaldi Runehoof is not a triggered spawn.

Return the Totem of the Frozen North to Sektamoot.

Step 4: Obtain the Harpoon of Telinan

Alexandraphex's first riddle requires the Harpoon of Telinan.

Defeat Kratas to obtain the Harpoon of Telinan.

Spawning Kratas requires completing the item requirements for the Kratas encounter.

Return the Harpoon of Telinan to Alexandraphex.

Step 5: Obtain the Ring of Garthis

Fentharos' first riddle requires the Ring of Garthis.

Defeat Crocosaurus to obtain the Ring of Garthis.

Crocosaurus spawns in Lake Noregard, inside the temple on the island, within the crocodile-shaped rock formation. The area is surrounded by Ancient Ghariel mobs and Tae Ew Hierophant mobs.

If Crocosaurus is not up, kill the Tae Ew Hierophant mobs swimming nearby to spawn him.

Return the Ring of Garthis to Fentharos.

Final Three Riddles

Step 6: Obtain the Crown of Ragek

After completing at least one of the first three riddles, speak with Sektamoot again to receive another clue.

This riddle requires the Crown of Ragek.

Defeat Skahyir in Box Canyon and loot the Crown of Ragek.

This version of Skahyir does not spawn in the same location used for Arios the Battered 55.

To reach him, travel north from Oasis until you reach Box Canyon. Go west around the mountain, then follow it east to a cave guarded by two Inferno Drake mobs. Enter the cave and go to the bottom, where Skahyir can spawn.

Skahyir is not a triggered spawn and may require a long camp.

Return the Crown of Ragek to Sektamoot to receive a token.

Step 7: Obtain the Queen's Shawl

Alexandraphex's second riddle requires the Queen's Shawl.

Defeat Lady Vox in Permafrost and loot the Queen's Shawl.

Lady Vox is a rare dragon that spawns on the top floor of her castle.

Lady Vox is not a triggered spawn and may require a long camp.

Return the Queen's Shawl to Alexandraphex to receive a token.

Step 8: Obtain the Shield of King Jorat

Fentharos' second riddle requires the Shield of King Jorat.

Defeat Siliskor in Elephant Graveyard and loot the Shield of King Jorat.

Siliskor spawns in the canyons near an empty pit with a tilted statue.

Return the Shield of King Jorat to Fentharos to receive a token.

Step 9: Return to Sektamoot

After receiving all three tokens, return to Sektamoot.

Sektamoot instructs you to find the portal to the Plane of Sky on your own.

Step 10: Find the Plane of Sky Portal

Travel to the Endless Tower in the Eternal Desert, where the monks reside.

Climb to the top of the tower.

When you reach the top, you receive a pop-up and a portal forms.

Step through the portal to enter the Plane of Sky.

Step 11: Speak with Sarathet

Once inside the Plane of Sky, speak with Sarathet, the large manticore.

Sarathet rewards you with the Tablet of Sarathet.

Use the Tablet of Sarathet to convert it into the Plane of Sky spell, which is placed into your ability menu.

Note: This quest does not reward XP.

• Players must be level 53 or higher to begin this quest.
• The quest begins with Sektamoot near the Sphinx Pyramid in the northeast section of the Eternal Desert.
• Fentharos and Alexandraphex are located on nearby hillsides.
• Each manticore gives two riddles, for a total of six riddles.
• The first three riddles can be completed in any order.
• At least one of the first three riddles must be completed before the final three riddles become available.
• The final three riddles can be completed in any order.
• Skaldi Runehoof, Skahyir, and Lady Vox are not triggered spawns and may require camping.
• The portal to the Plane of Sky is located at the top of the Endless Tower in the Eternal Desert.
• Wizard and Druid players receive the group portal spell reward.
