Walkthrough
This quest grants temporary access to Noroxus Lair in the Plane of Disease. Players must collect three slime hearts from the polluted pools, open the Fuming Portal, defeat Noroxus, and loot the Blood of Noroxus.
Before You Begin
Noroxus must be alive in order to log this quest. If Noroxus has already been defeated, Honcho Ulgurglch will not allow the quest to begin.
Honcho Ulgurglch: Noroxus has been defeated. Close eye on Ulgurglch masters are keeping. Ulgur no can speak for now.
Walkthrough
Step 1: Speak with Honcho Ulgurglch
Speak with Honcho Ulgurglch in the Plane of Disease to begin the quest.
Honcho Ulgurglch is located far around the circular path, moving clockwise through the zone.
Step 2: Collect Three Slime Hearts
Honcho Ulgurglch asks you to collect three slime hearts from the polluted pools.
The hearts can be collected in any order. Each pool has a connable slime nearby. Approach the connable slime to trigger the event and spawn a Unnamed Slime (PoD).
At each pool, complete the following:
- Approach the connable slime near the pool.
- The Unnamed Slime (PoD) becomes attackable and nearby Cyanea Virullata spawns.
- Defeat the surrounding Cyanea Virullata mobs.
- Make sure each player who needs portal access loots a Jellyfish Goo.
- Collect as many Jellyfish Goo drops as possible for the Noroxus encounter.
- Keep the corpses available as needed, then defeat the Unnamed Slime (PoD).
- The questor must loot the slime heart.
Repeat this process at all three pools until the questor has all three slime hearts.
Step 3: Collect Goo Drops and Hearts
Each player who needs to enter the portal must loot a Jellyfish Goo from the Cyanea Virullata mobs.
Jellyfish Goo drops are used to to enter Fuming Portal, which converts it to Jellyfish Goo Residue. Jellyfish Goo Residue is used to debuff Noroxus. Without the Jellyfish Goo Residue debuff, direct damage spells will do little or no damage to him.
Each Jellyfish Goo Residue debuff only lasts 30 seconds, so the raid should bring multiple Jellyfish Goo Residue drops if the Noroxus fight is expected to last longer.
Step 4: Return to Honcho Ulgurglch
Once the questor has collected all three slime hearts, return to Honcho Ulgurglch.
Turn in the three slime hearts. Honcho Ulgurglch will perform a ritual and give you a combined quest item needed to open the Fuming Portal.
Step 5: Open the Fuming Portal
Take the combined quest item to the large cauldron located in the middle of the three polluted pools.
Before opening the portal, clear the Last House Toxicologist and Last House Slayer, mobs surrounding the cauldron.
Use the combined item at the cauldron to open the Fuming Portal.
Important: Do not open the portal until everyone is ready. The Fuming Portal only remains open for roughly 15 minutes.
Only players who have looted the required Jellyfish Goo from the pool events can pass through the portal.
Step 6: Enter the Noroxus Area
Once the Fuming Portal is open, all prepared players may enter the portal to reach the Noroxus encounter area.
Each player must have Jellyfish Goo in their inventory in order to use the portal. Upon entering, the Jellyfish Goo will be converted into Jellyfish Goo Residue, which is used during the encounter to debuff Noroxus.
Players should make sure they have their Jellyfish Goo Residue ready before engaging Noroxus
Step 7: Defeat Noroxus
Engage and defeat Noroxus.
Use the Jellyfish Goo Residue to debuff Noroxus during the fight. These debuffs are required for direct damage spells to be effective against him.
Noroxus hits extremely hard, so tanks should be prepared and healers should be ready for heavy incoming damage.
Step 8: Loot the Blood of Noroxus
After Noroxus has been defeated, loot the Blood of Noroxus.
Looting the Blood of Noroxus grants access to the Twins area within the Plane of Disease.

- Every player entering the Fuming Portal must have looted the required Jellyfish Goo.
