Description
The entity known as Cazic Thule, or The Faceless, has many incarnations of its will. Most notable of these is its extra planar home, the Plane of Fear. However, the depth of Fear knows little in the way of bounds and it is apparent, to those learned in such matters, that there are other realms and manifestations of Cazic Thule's twisted power.
The Isle of Dread is one such incarnation. Perhaps a land to reward the most faithful of The Faceless' followers in their afterlife or perhaps a simple trap to lure foolish mortals into endless terror for the glory of Cazic Thule. Whatever the reasons for its existence, exist it does. What this enshrouded island holds remains to be seen, as so far the only word of it comes from the ramblings of madmen washed ashore after days lost at sea.

Reaching the Zone
In order to enter Isle of Dread, players must first complete the quest Dreadnaught Trial. Each entry to Isle of Dread requires 10,000 Tunar.
Walkthrough
Isle of Dread is a unique and demanding raid zone that tests a guildΓÇÖs coordination, preparation, and discipline. The encounters here can be unpredictable due to wildlife and often require both tactical planning and quick reaction. Conquering the Isle is considered a defining achievement for any EQOA guild, and few will dispute that a group capable of mastering its challenges has become true end-game competition.
Progress is often measured by how many of the IsleΓÇÖs major raid targets a guild can defeat, from smaller 6ΓÇô8-player challenges to the high-value threats such as Dread (IoD), Terror (IoD), Fright (IoD), Nightmare (IoD) (Sandstorm Custom Raid Target), Dracoliche (Sandstorm Custom Raid Target) and The Faceless (Sandstorm Custom Raid Target). These victories mark clear milestones in a guildΓÇÖs rise to power.
Before attempting the Isle of Dread, a guild should already have proven itself in more manageable raid by completing Dreadnaught Trials and developed a foundation of raid discipline. Members must be able to follow instructions, work as a coordinated unit, and maintain awareness throughout each encounter. With the right preparation and teamwork, however, the Isle becomes one of the most rewarding experiences availableΓÇöoffering class-specific level 50 gear, valuable raid drops, and iconic items such as the sought-after Paladin breastplate Splendor.
