Walkthrough

This is the level 59 quest for players on Kerra Isle. The Prophet of Kumaj sends players across Odus to recover several relics, defeat powerful named enemies, and finally retrieve the Soul of Decay from deep within Toxxulia's Lair.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Speak with the Prophet of Kumaj

Speak with the Prophet of Kumaj in Kerra Isle (SE) to begin the quest.

The Prophet of Kumaj can be found on the rune hill near the large white arches and bones.

He first sends you to defeat a Sea Nymph on the east coast of Kerra Isle.

Step 2: Defeat the Sea Nymph

Search the east coast of Kerra Isle for the Sea Nymph.

The Sea Nymph has been seen in Kerra Isle (S), Kerra Isle (E), and Kerra Isle (C). One reported location is along the east coast in the central section of the zone.

Defeat the Sea Nymph, loot the collar, and return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 3: Speak with the Historian

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to take the collar to a historian based on your alignment.

Good-aligned players should speak with Historian Musafik in Arcadin. He can be found in the spire on the upper hill, near the dockmaster.

Evil-aligned players should speak with Historian Neilok in Stone of Morthalis. He can be found in a tent on the north side of the village near the wall.

Speak with the proper historian to continue the quest.

Step 4: Destroy the Collar at Saftemoot

The historian sends you to Saftemoot in Erud's Crossing (C).

Travel to the bridge leading to Saftemoot's isle. A mob will trigger inside the mountain along the bridge.

Defeat the Altar Guardian, then approach the altar to receive a pop-up.

Use the pop-up to destroy the collar, then return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 5: Speak with Kaytin Mowler

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to a Kerran fishing village in Erud's Crossing (N).

Speak with Kaytin Mowler to continue the quest.

Kaytin Mowler sends you to defeat the Undead Kerrath Master.

Step 6: Defeat the Undead Kerrath Master

The Undead Kerrath Master can be found in Erud's Crossing (W).

Defeat the Undead Kerrath Master, loot the ring, and return to Kaytin Mowler.

Step 7: Defeat the Shiran Harpy Queen

After receiving the ring, Kaytin Mowler sends you to defeat the Shiran Harpy Queen in Erud's Crossing (NE).

The placeholder is the right harpy in the middle back alcove.

Defeat the placeholder until the Shiran Harpy Queen spawns.

Defeat the Shiran Harpy Queen and loot the Erudite Pilgrim's Satchel.

Return the satchel to Kaytin Mowler, then return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 8: Defeat High Shaman Thulgrr

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to defeat High Shaman Thulgrr.

High Shaman Thulgrr spawns in the kobold dungeon in The Warrens (N), between the kobold king and the exit to Stonebrunt Mountains.

He stands on a platform with a table behind two Guardian of Thulgrr mobs.

Defeat High Shaman Thulgrr, loot the totem, and bring it to Khonza Meysla in Stonebrunt Mountains (SW).

Step 9: Speak with Khonza Meysla

Speak with Khonza Meysla in Stonebrunt Mountains (SW).

Khonza Meysla sends you to defeat Karnarf the Hunter.

Step 10: Defeat Karnarf the Hunter

Karnarf the Hunter wanders in Stonebrunt Mountains.

He is often found on the northern side of the grizz mountain. He has also been reported in the western section near dead white tree trunks.

Defeat Karnarf the Hunter, loot his spear, and return to Khonza Meysla.

Step 11: Defeat the Grizz Chieftain

Khonza Meysla sends you to defeat the Grizz Chieftain.

The Grizz Chieftain is a rare spawn in the middle of the grizz camp. The camp is located under the mountain in the middle of Stonebrunt Mountains.

Defeat the Grizz Chieftain, loot the grizz necklace, and return to Khonza Meysla.

Khonza Meysla then sends you back to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 12: Speak with Glox

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to speak with Glox in Blakedown (S).

When coming from Forkwatch along the road, Glox can be found in the first building on the right.

Bring 11,000 Tunar with you.

Speak with Glox, pay the required amount, and return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 13: Speak with Rynlek

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to Highpass Hold (C) to find Rynlek.

Rynlek can be found in the Lord and Lady tower.

Bring 8,000 Tunar to purchase the information from him.

Rynlek tells you that a smuggler has the gem.

Step 14: Defeat the Indigo Artifact Smuggler

The Indigo Artifact Smuggler can be found in Cape Dreg (W), on the indigo pirate island in the middle of the large pirate camp.

Defeat the Indigo Artifact Smuggler, loot the gem, and return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 15: Defeat the Monarchs

The Prophet of Kumaj sends you to Geomancer's Citadel to defeat two monarchs:

Both Monarch of Stone and Monarch of Flame have been found in Geomancer's Citadel (SW).

Defeat both monarchs, loot their required items, and return to the Prophet of Kumaj.

Step 16: Defeat Pleglund

The final enemy requested by the Prophet of Kumaj is Pleglund, a named fungusman deep inside Toxxulia's Lair.

The entrance to Toxxulia's Lair is in South Toxxulia (S).

Pleglund spawns down the second left path from the main chamber.

A small raid of level 60 players is recommended to reach and defeat him.

Defeat Pleglund and loot the Soul of Decay.

Step 17: Return to the Prophet of Kumaj

Return to the Prophet of Kumaj with the Soul of Decay.

Speak with him to complete the quest and receive 100,000,000 XP, the Token of Odus, and a class-specific reward.
