Walkthrough
Step 1: Speak with Priest of Quellious
Speak with Priest of Quellious in Qeynos to begin the quest.
The Priest of Quellious sends you to seek someone who understands the discipline of overwhelming force before it was corrupted.
Step 2: Speak with Sensei Raikos
Travel to Elemental Tower and speak with Sensei Raikos.
Sensei Raikos explains that corrupted disciples have abandoned restraint and now pursue strength without wisdom.
He sends you south from Elemental Tower to defeat them.
Step 3: Collect Broken Discipline Beads
Defeat Corrupt Disciple mobs and collect the following quest items:
After collecting all six Broken Discipline Beads items, return to Sensei Raikos.
Step 4: Return to Sensei Raikos
Return to Sensei Raikos with the six Broken Discipline Beads items.
After the turn-in, return to the Priest of Quellious in Qeynos.
Step 5: Return to Priest of Quellious
Return to Priest of Quellious.
The priest sends you to seek someone who understands motion, adaptation, and balance before those teachings became twisted.
Step 6: Speak with Sensei Vaelun
Travel to Wyndhaven and speak with Sensei Vaelun.
Sensei Vaelun explains that twisted disciples have abandoned balance and now spread corrupted teachings of endless motion.
He sends you northeast from Wyndhaven to defeat them.
Step 7: Collect Frayed Motion Wraps
Defeat Twisted Disciple mobs and collect the following quest items:
After collecting all six Frayed Motion Wrap items, return to Sensei Vaelun.
Step 8: Return to Sensei Vaelun
Return to Sensei Vaelun with the six Frayed Motion Wrap items.
After the turn-in, return to the Priest of Quellious.
Step 9: Choose Your Path
Return to Priest of Quellious in Qeynos.
At this point, you must choose one of two paths:
- Fists of the Unyielding
- Order of the Flowing Form
Important: This choice is permanent and cannot be undone.
Path One: Fists of the Unyielding
Step 10A: Choose Fists of the Unyielding
Choose the Fists of the Unyielding path.
This path focuses on disciplined force, overwhelming strength, endurance, and pushing the body beyond its normal limits without losing balance.
The Priest of Quellious sends you back to Sensei Raikos.
Step 11A: Return to Sensei Raikos
Return to Sensei Raikos after choosing the Fists of the Unyielding path.
He asks you to continue hunting Corrupt Disciple mobs and place their Broken Discipline Beads within the Unyielding Reliquary beside him.
Step 12A: Earn Fists of the Unyielding Faction
Continue defeating Corrupt Disciple mobs and collecting Broken Discipline Beads.
Turn in the required items at the Unyielding Reliquary.
Accepted turn-in item:
Each turn-in increases your standing with the Fists of the Unyielding.
Continue turn-ins until you reach 2,000 faction with the Fists of the Unyielding.
Step 13A: Return to Sensei Raikos
After reaching 2,000 faction with the Fists of the Unyielding, return to Sensei Raikos.
He sends you back to the Priest of Quellious.
Step 14A: Claim the Fists of the Unyielding Reward
Return to Priest of Quellious.
Completing this path unlocks the One Hundred Hand Punch reward through a Class Master.
Path Two: Order of the Flowing Form
Step 10B: Choose Order of the Flowing Form
Choose the Order of the Flowing Form path.
This path focuses on balanced motion, adaptation, flow, and allowing strikes to continue naturally through nearby enemies.
The Priest of Quellious sends you back to Sensei Vaelun.
Step 11B: Return to Sensei Vaelun
Return to Sensei Vaelun after choosing the Order of the Flowing Form path.
He asks you to continue hunting Twisted Disciple mobs and place their Frayed Motion Wrap items within the Flowing Form Brazier beside him.
Step 12B: Earn Order of the Flowing Form Faction
Continue defeating Twisted Disciple mobs and collecting Frayed Motion Wrap items.
Turn in the required items at the Flowing Form Brazier.
Accepted turn-in item:
Each turn-in increases your standing with the Order of the Flowing Form.
Continue turn-ins until you reach 2,000 faction with the Order of the Flowing Form.
Step 13B: Return to Sensei Vaelun
After reaching 2,000 faction with the Order of the Flowing Form, return to Sensei Vaelun.
He sends you back to the Priest of Quellious.
Step 14B: Claim the Order of the Flowing Form Reward
Return to Priest of Quellious.
Completing this path unlocks the Spinning Strike reward through a Class Master.
Notes
- This quest is only available to Monk players.
- Players must be level 55 or higher.
- Players must choose either the Fists of the Unyielding path or the Order of the Flowing Form path.
- Once chosen, the path cannot be changed.
- The Fists of the Unyielding path requires 2,000 faction with the Fists of the Unyielding.
- The Order of the Flowing Form path requires 2,000 faction with the Order of the Flowing Form.
