Walkthrough

This is a simple but travel-heavy level 17 side quest based out of Freeport. You will gather two components for Scribe Cathassa and then report for your final reward. Both good- and evil-aligned players may complete this quest.

• • Step 1: Speak to Scribe Cathassa**

Begin at the Freeport coach. Enter the city through the **south gate**, run up the long hallway heading north, and take the **second passage on the west side**. Inside the building you will find Scribe Cathassa.

She requests two items:

• **Embalming Fluid**
• **Cured Drakes Blood**

Your task is to retrieve both and return.

• • Step 2: Obtain Embalming Fluid**

This item drops from an Ancient Mummy (CONs blue to yellow). Ancient Mummies can be found in **Northern Ro** and **Northwestern Ro**, just southwest of Freeport.

From the Freeport coach, run **southwest into the desert**. You can usually find an Ancient Mummy near the human camp located in **Northwestern Ro (SE)**. From this camp, head toward the hills to the north ΓÇö mummies commonly wander this area.

You may need to kill several for the drop. Once you have your Embalming Fluid, your next stop is Highpass Hold.

• • Step 3: Buy Cured Drakes Blood**

Travel to Highpass Hold and find Talya Montar on the **second floor of the keep**, behind the main staircase. Purchase **Cured Drakes Blood** for **600 tunar**.

• Note:*

To reach Highpass from Freeport, exit through the **north gate** and follow the Trade Road west. Even better, ask:

• a **51+ Mage** to CoH you, or
• a **47+ Wizard** to port you.

• • Step 4: Return to Scribe Cathassa**

Bring both items back to Scribe Cathassa in Freeport.

She will then direct you to receive your reward from Draeg Kuthra. To find him: exit CathassaΓÇÖs building through the **east door**, turn **south**, and enter the **first door on the east side**.

Speak to Draeg Kuthra to complete the quest. Your reward will vary depending on your class.
